BRANDICE

Experimented with my external flash on a cloudy winter day! It was pretty chilly out on the bridge, but worth it for the photos and lessons learned that day. 

I've used a blur effect on these photos to blend the model more into the background. I have added some gradients to mimic a warm sun glow to the right of the image and a blue tint to the bottom left. I also played around with some texture overlays and a new skin colour correcting method!

Over all I am pleased with the way these photos turned out, of course that goes without saying as I am posting them to my blog!

So I decided to re-edit these photos, plus more that I hadn't edited before! I think I rushed a bit on them before and made them overly too bright..
I like them 100% better now!

Throughout the past month, we have become pretty close friends! She's amazing to work with, confident and outgoing which makes the process extremely easy and fun! We share similar interests in many things, our love for art being one of the strongest!

I love the fact that I'm amble to explore my on location photography further while having a dependable friend/model thats just as intrigued as I am! Not to mention the fact that I get beautiful shots that I'm proud of! Look forward to seeing her more often, I have feeling we will be creating art together for a while!

 Here is the final image of Brandice from the shoot we did a couple weeks ago. I honestly think this one turned out to be my favorite image of them all! I can't get over how the lighting in the top right corner swirls within her curls!

Here is my latest model victim! Needless to say, she's also a natural in front of the camera! She's confident and fun, and those eyes and brows are gorgeous!

As simple as these photos turned out, I'm still pleased with the lighting I've used to sculpt the side of her neck and cheek bones. I'm excited to continue working with her on upcoming shoots and to push both our creativity to come up with more stunning images!
