This is Laura! Later one evening, I posted a Facebook status asking if anyone was interested in doing a quick shoot just to calm my eager need to continue this new process of editing! Having been her first photoshoot, and also the fact that we aren't overly close and have only really hungout a few times, she was a little nervous at first but quickly warmed up as we began shooting!

Throughout the photoshoot I noticed how her eyes especially reminded me of the singer Adele, and I introduced her to the idea of a doing an Adele look-a-like photoshoot. I'm excited to have a makeup artist and hair stylist work with us in creating some look-a-like photos because I can honestly see the resemblance plain as day!
Although, I love the process, lighting & coloring to these images I find theme rather plain. I can't wait for the chance to use this model for a larger production shoot!

Self Portrait

Here is a recent self portrait I've been working on, just experimenting with different color hues, tones, and just different editing processes in general!

I'm in love with the coloring of this image and if all my photos could have this color pallet, I'd be extremely happy! I also love the "painted" feeling of editing in this photo, everything seems so smooth and blended in a good way!

NATALIE: ON LOCATION/IN STUDIO

This is Natalie!
Her and I have been friends for more than a couple years now and I'm glad we got the chance to shoot some shots this past week! Honestly, I wish we had more space to play with when taking these shots, a different location would have been a better solution but it was after midnight when we finally decided to do the shoot!
She is just one of those natural beauty kind of girls, makeup helps obviously but the structure of her face & body is just gorgeous! She's one of those girls you look at and the word "woman" comes to mind (and I don't find myself thinking that often lol).
I went a little more natural in editing, with the coloring of these photos (been finding that I've been going a little over board lately with the post color).
